Product Photography

Worldbuilders has a marketplace to help support their non-profit work. When I started working for the organization, the product photos on the marketplace were uninspiring. One of the jobs that I took on was to spearhead changing that. As we were working remotely and I could not be there for the the photo shoots, it was a challenge to get across to the photographer what I wanted them to look like. I did mockup images in Photoshop to indicate the items and placement. Because we had a large format printer, I decided that we should use high resolution photos as backgrounds for all the photos. When the photoshoot was happening, a lot of Zooming and Slacking was done to work out the details. During the actual photoshoots I made micro changes to the layouts to get the products to stand out better. In the end, everyone was happy with the results.
